Subject: Implementation of GSO Conformity Tracking Symbol (GCTS)

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Congratulations to all GSO Notified Bodies for the successful implementation of the

GSO Certificate Tracking System starting July 2016.

The GSO announcement No (422/300/16) dated on 26/6/2016 regarding the

implementation of the GSO Certificate System requires to affix the GSO Conformity

Tracking Symbol (GCTS) on all products in accordance with the conformity

assessment procedures by notified bodies, beginning from the first of January 2017.

I would like to remind the GSO notified bodies about the date of the mandatory

implementation of GSO Conformity Tracking Symbol (GCTS), and would like to take

this opportunity to inform the GSO notified bodies that GSO is publishing the

guidance about the (GSO- Rules for the Use of the GSO Conformity Tracking Symbol

(GCTS)), explaining the form and display of the (GCTS), Use of the (GCTS)" a copy is

attached".

All products shall bear the (GCTS) from 1st January 2017 and meet the requirements

in this guidance.

We trust that this will contribute to increase the effectiveness of the implementation

of the notification activities with a smooth transition.

The GSO notified bodies comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

按照GSO于2016年6月26日公布的GSO证书注册系统实施的公告，自2017年1月1日起，GSO符合性追溯标识GSO Conformity Tracking Symbol（简称GCTS）必须根据符合性评定程序粘贴在所有相关产品上。关于如何使用GCTS标志，GSO于上周进一步发布了GSO符合性追溯标识的使用规则。

• 从2017年1月1日起，所有产品应带有GCTS标志，并且满足使用规则中的要求。
• 在最新的使用规则中，包含G marking、指定机构（Notified Body）的四位代码和二维码的GCTS标识必须黏贴在产品、外包装和产品随机的文件上。详细的尺寸说明以及使用指南，请参见附件。
